Wasn't all too bad for an amateur backyard mechanic. Stick wiring sheathing from right side hand controls can easily get stuck and result in braking off wires inside these handlebars.     Fit great on my 02 FLTHCI, glad I did'nt get the 12", this pits my arms at approx shoulder height. Build quality seems good and was shipped in a protective foam sleeve. FYI, did not have to replace my stock wiring, although I did not run them on the inside, but if you do, still seems like there is enough wire.
