Why the Sakura x Sasuke ship is stronger than you think! Part 2

Introduction

So, If you have read Naruto Gaiden, you'd know that Sakura is now married to Sasuke, we all know this because they have their own kid, Sarada, and Sakura wears the Uchiha clan crest.

SPOILERS FOR NARUTO GAIDEN AND SHIPPUDEN.

Onto the points!

1. They have a child together

Meet, Sarada Uchiha, Sakura and Sasuke's child. There was some confusion at first, when readers thought that Sarada was Karin and Sasuke's child, however it is later on revealed that she is in fact theirs and Karin helped deliver her.

We also find out that Sakura refuses to leave Sasukes side and he allows her to join him since she is pregnant and requires assistance. This also means that they were intimate together. Plus, the obvious point, the fact that Sasuke and Sakura had a child is proof that they love each other, because having and looking after a child is a very big commitment.

2. They've been through some rough stuff

Okay so, we all know about the Sasuke business and how he joined Orochimaru, then Itachi died and all that. We also know how Sakura suffered because of this, because her crush on Sasuke developing into love and Sasuke just kept hurting her and her friends. Well, the fact that a couple has had rough times can either make the relationship or break it, here I think it made it stronger. This is because, they've come to understand each other through hardship and Sakura has matured, when she tries to kill Sasuke, whilst Sasuke has realized all the bad he's done.

3. Sakura's commitment

We all know how Sakura was determined to get Sasuke back and make him acknowledge her, you could say she was deeply infatuated. Well, this infatuation made her realize what Sasuke had done, so Sakura pulls the whole ' I love you, Naruto' thing, to make him stop going after sasuke, which doesn't work. Sakuras love for sasuke started off childish but developed and it pained her to love him because she knew he was a criminal, but still she would defend him. Telling Sai to not badmouth sasuke and then punching him, as well as other things.

When sasuke finally returns, Kakashi tells her, “And Sakura… I bet your feelings for Sasuke have changed from what they were back then. You still love him, but on a totally different level. He tried to take your life away, but yet… You still care for him. You won’t cut him off no matter what, and you think it’s your duty to save him from the darkness. That’s the kind and gentle girl you are.” This shows that Sakura had helped Sasuke out of the darkness and had been part of his redemption. You can also see this by when Sasuke says to Sakura and Obito, ' But thanks to you, I made it.' Make of this what you will, but I believe... AANG CAN SAVE THE WORLD. Seriously now, I believe that Sakuras commitment definitely played a part in sasuke coming back to help Konoha.

At the end of Gaiden, Kishimoto wrote, ' what reflected there was the real deal, LOVE.' It says this underneath a picture of Sasuke, Sakura and Sarada. So just in case you were doubting it :point_up_2:
