Title:Communication-Constrained Routing and Traffic Control for Autonomous Vehicles

Abstract:Autonomous vehicles (AV) is an advanced technology that can bring convenience, improve the road-network throughput, and reduce traffic accidents. To enable higher levels of automation (LoA), massive amounts of sensory data need to be uploaded to the network for processing, and then, maneuvering decisions must be returned to the AV. Furthermore, passengers might have a higher transmission rate demands for various data-hungry and delay-sensitive applications.
