Kendrick Lamar recently dropped the new video for his song “Alright,” off the album “To Pimp a Butterfly.” The trippy clip shows the rapper and others in some harrowing and utterly spell-binding scenes as it details the protagonist’s dealings with fame, drugs, racism and other matters.

And if see the video, you’ll recognize some shots of the Bay Area. Rolling Stone says much of the video was filmed on Treasure Island with a cast of some 100 extras. Note: the video contains raw language and lots of N-bombs.

It’s still awesome.
