Photograph, i.e. derivative work, of a modern, presumably copyrighted, painting of unknown provenance. Uploader claims to be author of the photograph, but apparently not of the painting; no indication that he is entitled to release the derivative work under a free license. Delete. Cannot find anything about this "Alim Gasimov". Google only finds a musician with the same name. Image really looks to new to be PD. --PaterMcFly (talk) 10:09, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Comment: yes, actually, I think the description "Photo of oil-painting of Alim Gasimov performing Mugam" actually refers to this same Alim Gasimov, the musician, as the subject of the painting, not the supposed painter. Fut.Perf. ☼ 11:02, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
- Oh, that could be. Then the image is obviously not old enough, as nobody could have drawn a painting of someone born in the 50ties more than 70 years ago... --PaterMcFly (talk) 16:24, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
