invalid transfer from dewiki, author and data unknown Krd 08:26, 8 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • This looks like a contemporary picture; the respective war (en:Anglo-Zulu War) was fought 1873-79. If I take the stance that this was used for a report in a newspaper of the time, we are talking about a work of art that is 120-130 years old, with unknown authorship. Since we do not know the author, the only date we can more or less reliably determine is that of publication (which was probably 1880-1900). If I take 50 years form that date, the rights would have expired around 1950.--Eptalon (talk) 19:56, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Author is likely en:Richard Caton Woodville, Jr.. He died in 1927. --Eptalon (talk) 20:24, 9 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
