- Info Triq San Patrizju in Valletta, Malta, facing the Basilica Our Lady of Mount Carmel. In the "snapshot of a normal residential street facing a major landmark" category of photo. :) all by — Rhododendrites talk | 18:39, 29 April 2024 (UTC)

- Comment I would decrease hightlights exposure. --Mile (talk) 17:37, 30 April 2024 (UTC)
- I took a pass at the highlights in the current version. Played with bringing them down lower, but it looked unnatural. I don't think there's that much detail lost, though -- just a bit bright in spots. — Rhododendrites talk | 01:06, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- Pic is good, just to make some more edits. You can send me original, CA is still strong and "blownout" can be corected. I would even crop it a bit above, church become biger. --Mile (talk) 09:17, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the offer! Where is the CA? Can you add a note? I'm not sure about a crop. I like the portrait orientation for narrow streets like this and wouldn't want to trim more off the sides to match a top crop. — Rhododendrites talk | 18:17, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
- Annoted. p.S. Crop would make, to strat from shadow to sun, now is sun-shadow-sun and church would be biger (would crop above too). Try as alternative. --Mile (talk) 06:45, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks. Regarding CA, I don't see any serious CA in those areas? The strange thing is there was CA around there in the previous version of the page. Is it possible you have a cached version? I like your idea of cropping from dark-to-light, but when I tried to do so it required cutting off too much of the left to make it work for me. — Rhododendrites talk | 21:58, 5 May 2024 (UTC)

- Oppose I see what you where trying but the street and lit background overall aren't expectional to me. I believe that there are many other more interesting streets in Valetta with colourful balconies. Those shown here in the foreground are not. Sorry, Poco a poco (talk) 19:58, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
