Loligo vulgaris Lamarck, 1798


English: Common squid from the Belgian continental shelf. Picture taken in the lab on board of the RV Belgica, of a live specimen to preserve colour and structure of chromophores.
Mantle: length= 138 mm, width= 39 mm.
Français : Calmar commun, individu pêché sur la plateforme continentale belge. Photo prise à bord du RV Belgica. L'individu est vivant, ce qui préserve la couleur et les structures des chromophores. Le manteau fait 138 × 39 mm.
