Corrales Compound encompasses twenty-seven lots on both sides of Mariquita Road in the village of Corrales, NM. There are nineteen homes in the compound while the remaining lots are mostly fenced green pastures for the dozen or so horses that also call the compound home.

Mariquita Road, all of which is inside the compound, is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful streets in the village. Two rows of cottonwoods flank the road, providing leafy green cover on hot summer days, brilliant fall colors in October, and stark silhouettes on the occasional snowy day in winter. Wedding photographs, baby pictures and magazine covers all attest to the beauty of this entrance to our neighborhood. Even Wikipedia features Mariquita Road as an iconic image for the village of Corrales.

The compound provides easy access to the Rio Grande bosque for residents who enjoy being in a natural setting. It is possible to walk for miles in either direction along the bosque, or to walk down to the river for quiet reflection.

The compound is an oasis in a charming little village that provides easy access to restaurants, shops and services of a much larger metropolitan area.
