No one has the answers yet, so it’s a matter of starting smart, then building on the foundation.
My Philosophy
I love working with early stage companies because there is so much creation happening. No one has the answers yet, so it’s a matter of starting smart, then building on the foundation. I take what I’ve learned being a part of multiple technology cycles to find a path for growth. I also really value working with friendly, intelligent people and our companies are full of them.
Experience
I spent over 25 years as a marketing and product executive building, branding, and launching market-defining software at Microsoft, Netscape/AOL, and Loudcloud. My work serving on Boards or Advisory Boards of 12+ B2C & B2B startups has also really shaped my perspective on company-building. And I’m delighted to call the Partners at Silicon Valley Product Group (SVPG) my peers in addition to being a Lecturer on marketing and product management at the UC Berkeley graduate school of engineering.
Education
-B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University
-M.A. in Organizational Behavior from Stanford University
Outside of Work
My passions are biking (road, dirt) running, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, triathlons and wake surfing. All else aside, being a Mom to two amazing daughters is job #1. Ask me about Star Wars Episode’s IV-IX, Tahoe, or how I met my husband, Chris Jones.
