Module13.2 Servo2 is a servo driver module in the M5Stack stackable module series. It internally uses the PCA9685 16-channel PWM controller, allowing simultaneous control of 16 servos. It features a DC power input (6 ~ 12V) design, with two SY8368AQQC chips for voltage reduction. The dual-channel output has a maximum total power of 35W (5V/3.5A x 2), and the single-channel output has a maximum power of 25W (5V / 5A). When powered by a battery base, it supports a maximum output of 5V/2A. The module communicates with the host via I2C (default address 0x40), and the I2C address can be changed using a DIP switch (0x40 ~ 0x47). This means multiple Module13.2 Servo2 modules can be stacked and used together. The board includes a power switch to control the power on/off of the Module13.2 Servo2.
Note
Module Power Supply
When driving servos, this module must be powered externally via the DC interface. For main controllers with power management chips (such as Core2/CoreS3), the M-BUS power mode must be configured as input during program initialization.
