Unit OP90 is a 90° non-contact photoelectric limit switch. This unit has infrared transmitters and receivers on both sides. During normal operation, the transmitter side continuously emits infrared signals to the receiver side. When an object passes through and blocks the infrared signal, the output will generate an action signal to detect the object's passage. It is commonly used in mechanical control systems as a safety interlock or photoelectric counting device.
