Aerial Photos Show Picturesque Taklimakan Desert Coated in Snow

As the cold front befell China’s largest desert Taklimakan in southwest Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region since December 12, 2015, the rink of the desert has seen snow that decorates it into a white fairyland.

Photos taken on December 14, 2015, show that the golden desert has been transformed into large white patches of rolling dunes in Weili county in the desert.

Taklimakan desert, also known as Taklimakan and Teklimakan, is the largest desert in China and the tenth largest in the world.
