The wikilinked "Dravidian people" is in fact a redirect to Dravidian peoples, which is emblematic of the fact that these peoples are not monolithic and instead quite diverse. The other important criteria mentioned in the lead is self-identification, and Dravidians do indentify themselves as the indigenous peoples of the subcontinent.
