Pierre Durois is a mathematics teacher at an all-girls high school in [[Aix-en-Provence]]. He also works as a ghostwriter for his father the mayor, who is seeking re-election, and for his friend who works for a tabloid newspaper. |

Pierre acts as a ghostwriter for his father and Patrick. This comes into play when Pierre's students, as a funny coinscedence, switch the contents of three folders containing papers to grade, a speech for his father, and an article for Patrick on the actress Jackie Logan. |

Pierre ends up giving his mother's papers to Patrick by accident, eventually finding himself on the set of Jackie Logan's film. Through a series of events, Pierre ends up spending the night at her house. The next day, the tabloids run exaggerated headlines of the situation, much to the chagrin of Hubert Durois (as this harms his chances at re-election) and Danièle, Pierre's fiancée. |

Plot
