Stockton Rush is the founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of OceanGate.[1] He went missing with four others in the 2023 Titan submersible incident.

Education

In 1984, Rush received a degree from Princeton University in aerospace engineering. In 1989, he received a MBA from UC Berkeley.[2]

Titan expedition

In June 2023, Rush was onboard the Titan, a vessel owned by OceanGate, Inc., to view the Titanic wreckage, when the vessel lost contact with the above-water ship, MV Polar Prince, on 18 June.[3] Search-and-rescue missions have involved water and air support from the United States, Canada, and France.[4]
