This is a totally wrong information
This is a wrong information because Islam has only one last prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) and no one else after him. Theres no such caliphates of islam left. Ahmadis are different from Muslims, they are neither muslims nor accepted by any islamic country. So its highly commendable if you'll delete this ASAP. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 39.40.23.197 (talk) 20:22, 21 January 2023 (UTC)
:This is not the place to contest Wikipedia's determination that Ahmadiyya is part of Islam, broadly construed. His title is Caliph, so the article is correct, that he is the Caliph of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. —C.Fred (talk) 20:28, 21 January 2023 (UTC)

Frequently asked questions; please read before posting

If you are here because Google erroneously implied that this Wikipedia article says anything about the Caliph of Islam, do not post about it. This question arises frequently on the talk page concerning Mirza Masroor Ahmad.

How can you say he is the caliph of Islam? That is false!

Nowhere does the article claim that Mirza Masroor Ahmad is the caliph of Islam. His title is "Caliph" only within the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The first paragraph of the article explains this clearly.

Why was my request or comment removed?

Because of the frequency of meritless and disruptive requests from people who have not even read the article, any further requests to delete the page or a nonexistent claim will be removed without consideration, unless the request complies with all relevant Wikipedia guidelines, especially WP:Reliable sources.

Revert on sight?

People coming here protesting about false claims in this article are doing so only because Google somehow links to this article in a search for caliph of Islam. I think we should revert on sight such requests from the ignorant (I use that term because they obviously cannot be bothered to read the article). ~Anachronist (talk) 23:07, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a small FAQ to the top of this page, similar to what is being done in Talk:Muhammad and Talk:Adam's Bridge to help stem the tide from drive-by requests. ~Anachronist (talk) 23:25, 21 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I think it may be time to just start reverting on sight. At the most jaded level, if they can't be bothered to read anything else on the page, they won't bother to read a reply explaining the situation. —C.Fred (talk) 03:50, 22 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page protected again

Due to the ongoing stream of anon IPs who ignore the prominent warning about "Caliph of Islam" at the top of this page, this page is once again semi-protected. OhNoitsJamie Talk 21:27, 8 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
