Paloma Blanca, or often credited as Una Paloma Blanca or La Paloma Blanca is a chart-topping hit song by Dutch band George Baker Selection released in 1975. It can be found in the group's fifth album bearing the same name.
Background
The song was composed by Johannes Bouwens, George Baker himself. The song's unique feature is a flute instrumental. The song was rumored to be linked to the abolition of fascism in Portugal, possibly due to its lyrics. However, the song title is in Spanish rather than Portuguese. It is translated in English as white dove
