Hi, I was about to create an article on this when I saw you deleted it as an expired PROD last year. The old article may not have shown it, but it is a very notable program dating to 1938 of the extremely notable [[Council on Foreign Relations]]. It came up recently in this deletion debate: [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations]]. Apparently some hoaxsters have created a phony site pretending to be one of the real and notable committees, and are trying to use wikipedia to help the scam, and someone (the real organization(?)) complained. So would you mind recreating the old article so I can see if there is anything I can use? There are plenty of refs on the real organization(s).[[User:John Z|John Z]] ([[User talk:John Z|talk]]) 00:37, 10 December 2008 (UTC)

WP:HAU, Status, and you!

As you may know, the StatusBot responsible for maintaining the status of the Highly Active Users was taken offline. We now have a replacement in the Qui status system. This semi-automatic system will allow you to easily update your status page found at Special:Mypage/Status which the HAU page code is now designed to read from. If you are already using Qui (or a compatible system) - great! - no action is needed (other than remembering to update your status as necessary). If not, consider installing Qui. You can also manually update this status by changing the page text to online, offline, or busy. While it is not mandatory, the nature of HAU is that people are often seeking a quick answer from someone who is online and keeping our statuses up-to-date will assist with this. Note if you were previously using your /Status page as something other than a one-word status indicator, your HAU entry may have been set to "status=n" to correct display issues. Please clear this parameter if you change things to be "HAU compatible". Further questions can be raised at WT:HAU. This message was delivered by xenobot 23:14, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As the above discussion indicates, we are working on merging some Ace Combat content and the information previously found at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of fictional aircraft in Ace Combat could be beneficial to the merge. Would you be so kind as to userfy that article while we discuss the possibility of merging? Thanks! --Happy editing! Sincerely, Le Grand Roi des CitrouillesTally-ho! 00:54, 26 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Copy of Jaclyn Case article

Hi! Could you provide me a copy of the deleted article about Jaclyn Case? I want to see what I have done there and saving the information to use when the article fits the Wikipedia:Bio. Thank you for your time! Best regards, Sdrtirs (talk) 18:02, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

An editor has asked for a deletion of Martin J. Walker. Since you participated in the deletion review discussion for this article as recently as March 2008, you might want to participate in the current deletion proposal. Sam Weller (talk) 20:10, 24 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

People ganging up to disrupt an article

Hi,

I found you at Wikipedia:Editor assistance. If you can spare a few minutes of your time helping out at Indo-Aryan loanwords in Tamil, I would be thankful.

I am developing an article on words borrowed by Tamil from Indo-Aryan languages. I am citing a standard authoritative lexicon from which I find the words that are borrowed before including them at Indo-Aryan loanwords in Tamil. There are a few people who seem to be intent in damaging the article by adding "cite" tags, "disputed" and "dubious" tags for the article and threatening to delete it within 24 hours.

Could you please help?

Thanks. Kris (talk) 19:05, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You had participated at Talk:Indo-Aryan loanwords in Tamil yesterday. Kindly have a look at revised Indo-Aryan loanwords in Tamil vote at its AfD. Thanks for your time Kris (talk) 23:19, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
