Fredrik Strand Halland is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer based in Los Angeles. Halland has worked with a number of popular artists including, Justin Bieber, Colbie Caillat, Mary J. Blige, Gavin DeGraw, Becky G, Jesse McCartney and Kat Graham.[1][2][3]
Early life
Born in Bergen, Halland began playing the guitar at a very young age. When he turned 9, he started taking lessons from guitarist Mads Eriksen, who first introduced Halland to the Blues. Three years later, he had over 100 live performances under his record with appearances at several renowned music festivals including the Notodden Blues Festival in Norway and South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.[4][5]
