Kelman Ltd.

Kelman Ltd. is a UK registed company with it's headquarters in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. Kelman was formed in 1994 based on a vision to design new and exciting products.

Early years

Kelman was initially focused on the electrical distribution industry. During the first years of operation Kelman developed a number of award winning products, including a low voltage autorecloser, a circuit breaker analyser and fault location equipment.

Railway Sector

In 2002 Kelman became involved in the railway sector and launched SIGNET, an automatic reconfiguration system for the power supplied to the rail signalling network. This product continues to be an integral part of the modernisation of the UK rail network.

Dissolved Gas Analysis

Early in 2003 Kelman moved into the area of Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA), which is the essential test for condition monitoring of electrical transformers. With cutting edge technology Kelman has helped to revolutionize DGA practice with the release of both portable and on-line DGA equipment. These products are now being used successfully by many of the world's largest utilities.

Sales Offices

Kelman has expanded to have engineering and sales offices in England, USA, Canada, Russia, Germany, Denmark, China, South Africa, India, Dubai, Japan, Singapore, Mexico and Brazil. In 2006 more offices are planned to open in Los Angeles and Moscow.
