Philippine Television Awards

Fictional: These awards are organized by the Television Academy of the Philippines. Every year, they are broadcast in rotation among the three major TV networks: ABS-CBN, GMA and TV5. The Academy also holds two award galas, a dinner gala and a televised gala. The dinner gala is held on a Saturday where 23 awards are given and at the next day (Sunday), this is when the televised gala is held and 20 awards are given. Overall, it has 43 awards.

Best-selling albums in Canada

This is a list of the best-selling albums in Canada based on Music Canada, formerly known as Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA), certification and Nielsen SoundScan tracking.

Album certifications

Music Canada provides certifications for album sales. The certification levels for albums released after May 1, 2008 are[2]:

  • Gold: 40,000 units (previously 50,000)
  • Platinum: 80,000 units (previously 100,000)
  • Diamond: 800,000 units (previously 1,000,000)

Note: Multi-Platinum certification refers to albums that have sold 160,000 units or more (i.e. 160,000 is double Platinum) but have not yet sold 800,000 units (Diamond certification).
