Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, Escravoes, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Anggrah Suryo, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! De728631 (talk) 12:34, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Anggrah Suryo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable person, fails WP:ONEEVENT.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

And what is also important, please do not copy large portions of original text from the internet as you did in the article. This is a violation of copyright and will not be tolerated on Wikipedia. Quoting short passages with a proper attribution of the sources is allowed though. De728631 (talk) 12:34, 15 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removing AfD template

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Anggrah Suryo. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it. Snotbot  t • c »  13:49, 22 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Quoc Tru. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Malaysian ringgit seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Quoc Tru (talk) 01:53, 26 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi there.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Lawal Kaita. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Bgwhite (talk) 08:18, 4 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Discuss on the article's talk page on why a 1/3 of the article should contain two quotes. Especially two quotes of political foes attacking each other and has nothing to do about Kaita. Reverting is no longer an option. Bgwhite (talk) 08:19, 4 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Danladi Umar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Yoruba. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Muhammad Nasiruddin al-Albani, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:09, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello, I notice that you want to add significant content, or make quite a few changes, to this page. Yet you seem -- in my opinion -- to be doing so without basing your changes on reliable sources. Two good sets of Wikipedia guidelines that I have found really useful can be found HERE and HERE. Neutrality is extremely important. Your reliance on www.al-manhaj.com ("Fataawaa of Shaikh Al-Albaanee") introduces great subjectivity. Regards, George Custer's Sabre (talk) 06:54, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
