Olga Danilović defeated Caroline Dolehide in the final, 6–3, 6–1 to win the singles title at the 2024 Guangzhou Open.[1][2] It was her second WTA Tour singles title and first since 2018.

Wang Xiyu was the defending champion,[3] but lost to Lucia Bronzetti in the quarterfinals.
