A tag has been placed on Faith For Our Planet, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Hello Iam1947. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Iam1947. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Iam1947|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Theroadislong (talk) 12:15, 13 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No I am not paid. I mentioned in my conversations on talk pages that I got to know of the organisation through a youth forum the organiser of which attended a summit in Islamabad around climate change arranged by FFOP. We got to learn about climate change and why it was important and therefore got involved with the movement at the local community level. Iam1947 (talk) 04:51, 14 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your reply @Nagol0929. I have worked on other Wikipedia articles as well and understand that glorification of subjects is a strict no, no. However, I feel I wrote this from an extremely neutral point of view without adding any marketing angle to the draft. It is just a list of activities that the organization has conducted and what other independent sources think about it.
For my aid, could you please pinpoint a specific area that you think appears to be advertising so that I can work on it further.
I would also request another review from you of this very draft, independent of the previous track of it being rejected multiple times.
Any help would be appreciated and help me become an improved contributor. Iam1947 (talk) 05:27, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Idk it’s just the repeated praise of the organization throughout the article even though it’s sourced. I would remove the praise and focus more on the facts instead of the praise Nagol0929 (talk) 11:45, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Okay @Nagol0929. I will try removing the praise portion of the sourced quotes and let you review it again. But I appreciate you acknowledging that the sources are in fact genuine.
Thanks! Iam1947 (talk) 05:15, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Dan arndt the submission you are referring to was declined which is why I created this draft with various other citations and references and changed the style to what wikipedia usually accepts, non laudatory. The earlier decline message said it was advertisement, but I submitted in my reply that everything said about the subject is quoted from independent reliable sources. If independent sources say the organization's work is excellent, how can the citation be considered a advertisement or promotion?
I wrote nothing myself as a contributor to praise the subject.
Can you please guide more specifically, please? And can you tell me what can I do if a notable citation is appreciating the work of the subject? Iam1947 (talk) 10:14, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
