Luke Covell (born November 9, 1981 in Goondiwindi, Queensland) is an Australian-born New Zealand rugby league player for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in the National Rugby League competition, he also previously played for the Wests Tigers. His position of choice is on the wing.

Career Highlights

Covell played early football for the Murwillumbah Colts.

Covell is known for his lack of speed, but Covell makes up for it in catching and defence, and is one of the best goalkickers in the NRL.

In 2007 Covell made his Test Debut for New Zealand against Australia.

In 2008 Covell won the Dally M Pointscorer of the Year award.
