Scotts is an unincorporated community in Kalamazoo County, Michigan, United States. Scotts is Template:Mi to km southeast of Kalamazoo. Scotts has a post office with ZIP code 49088.[2]
History
Land at Scotts was first deeded to Dan Wheeler in 1835. Samuel Scott settled the community in 1847; the community was named Scotts Crossing after him, which was later shortened to Scotts. The post office at Scotts opened on February 19, 1872; Servetus Bathrick served as its first postmaster. Bathrick later platted the community in 1874.[3]
