Tespe is a municipality in the district of Harburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It abuts on the county Lüneburg at the south and the west. Tespe is really close to Geesthacht and about 30 kilometres far from Hamburg.

In addition to that, Tespe, Marschacht and Drage are taken together the Samtgemeinde Elbmarsch. The Samtgemeinde Elbmarsch is a part of the county of Harburg, which is the other way around a section of Lower Saxony.

Tespe is opposite to the Nuclear Power Plant Krümmel. The municipality is being next to the river 'Elbe'. The beautiful landscape of Tespe is attracting many visitors every year, what is maybe the reason for their visit.
