Robert Cole (born 1933 in Newfoundland) is a Canadian television announcer. He has been the play-by-play announcer for Hockey Night in Canada, primarily for Toronto Maple Leafs games, since 1969. He was a recipient of the Hockey Hall of Fame's Foster Hewitt Award for broadcasting excellence in 1996. As of 2004, he is not a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame itself.
