Article split
I think the album deserves its own section; there's enough information about it in this article alone to justify a new article. Any qualms? James Who (talk) 04:52, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
- I think creating a section for the album is a good idea. I'm not sure about creating a separate article for it, unless perhaps you have more information to add. Marchije•speak/peek 14:00, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
- I can add information from the allmusic article about it and I'll search for more information on reviews. It's just annoying that the album title AND band name are rather... generic (in that they're common words on the net) because information is so difficult to find! Other than that, there are other album that have even less information on them yet have their own articles. I will find more information and then maybe split the article later. If anyone finds any more information, can they let me know so I know that there will be more added to the article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by James Who (talk • contribs) 00:10, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
- I split the article. If you have any more information on reviews or singles, etc, please find the article: Beast (Beast album). —Preceding unsigned comment added by James Who (talk • contribs) 07:56, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Move?
- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was Not moved. Article for South Korean band of same name still exists under similarly disambiguated name. (Non-admin closure; there's a backlog) Cybercobra (talk) 11:26, 13 November 2009 (UTC)
Beast (Canadian band) → Beast (band) —
- Originally had move the latter to the former due to another group sharing the same name, however I just found out that Beast (South Korean band) name is actually an acronym. So Beast (Canadian band) can just be covered by Beast (band). Also it is a unneeded disam page since it can be covered in Beast. — MS (Talk|Contributions) 13:59, 1 November 2009 (UTC) Relisted (issue is related to a now-resolved afd) DMacks (talk) 07:20, 10 November 2009 (UTC)
- That "beast" Beast (South Korean band) is an acronym, is not obvious to many looking for info about it.
- Page Beast (South Korean band) redirects to page BEAST, which is under AfD. Best wait till that AfD has run its course? Anthony Appleyard (talk) 20:34, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
- Suspend until after AfD, per Appleyard. 65.94.252.195 (talk) 04:43, 3 November 2009 (UTC)

- Oppose as proposed. WP:BANDDAB says "Use either '(band)' or '(duo)' when the musical ensemble is a duet." It does not deprecate the use of "(band)" in these cases. Dekimasuよ! 02:24, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose the guidance on WP:BANDDAB says "Use either '(band)' or '(duo)' when the musical ensemble is a duet." Maybe we should remove the (duo) option as it adds nothing In ictu oculi (talk) 07:58, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
