Brex is a credit card company that issues corporate credit cards to technology companies in the United States.
In May 2019 Brex was raising $2 billion valuation.[1]
Inception and funding structure
Brazilians Henrique Dubugras and Pedro Franceschi founded the company.[2] In January 2017, Brex received seed funding from Y Combinator.[3] Brex received additional capital from Peter Thiel, Max Levchin, Ribbit Capital, and Yuri Milner.[4] In October 2018, Brex raised an additional $125 Million in its series C funding.[5]
