Hey I'm looking for some help

Just started first article "List of Canadian ufc fighters" and I have been trying to get it done. But it is my first article so I'm bit confused on how some of the links and stuff works. It says my article is orphaned and I need to add more links but I'm not to sure how to do that:/ I see u edit some ufc stuff think you can help me? Got these one the page This article currently links to a large number of disambiguation pages (or back to itself) (check | fix).Please help direct these ambiguous links to articles dealing with the specific meaning intended. Tsims23, Greetings. Pls see the changes I made on the HW on table setting and I have added a ref column for example. (1) Pls remove all the links "double brackets" on Nick name section and (2) please add sources (inline citation) on the ref section of the info claimed in the row. (3) Lastly, I notice you copies and pasted some of the text from other articles in Wikipedia for such you need to give proper attribution - WP:PATT, in a dummy edit and in the article talk page, to the original author as they info you added is not your work. Thank you for your help I will try my best tomorrow to get things looking better and I'm not really to sure how the links work on here yet gunna watch some videos. Tsims23 For proper attribution - see WP:PATT. Make a dummy edit and state "proper attribution to original authors of xxx page, xxx page, xxx page. Do that the same in the article talk page . For references (inline citation) - use horizontal format of Template:Cite Web if the source is from digital/web. For more detail info then pls read referencing for instruction/info. Since most of the fighters do have pages in Wikipedia, you would find the sources easily on their page. Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). CASSIOPEIA, Im a bit confused on what this < br > is what should i be putting in there? and also i tried to like a like to Harold Howard in heavyweight but it keeps saying its a missing or empty title im confused, im looking at other fighter pages to see how they have theyre refs done it seems to work for them but not mine and i entered it the same way. Wikipedia has the most complete bio for this fighter do that's what was used for info as with most of the others, I also looked them up on sherdog the matches and organizations are there but sometimes doesnt give the note worth detail. sorry bout not editing soon has been unexpectedly busy lately. thanks again for the help (Tsims23 (talk) 20:38, 2 October 2019 (UTC))[reply]

Hi Tsims23, the "br" nested inside <> = line break. Pls see Help:Wikitext. For references, do read referencing /inline citation for info and instructions. For web source, you can use "horizontal format" Template:Cite Web. You can also use Wikipedia:VisualEditor to input the reference by just input the URL and it will filled the rest of the parameter/info accordingly. Please read Wikipedia:VisualEditor/User guide on how to set up Visual Editor and info.

CASSIOPEIA sorry about that spellcheck I ment to say I tried to link a link to harold howard in the notes section(Can be seen as a little 8 at the end of the note). But when I did, it says it was an empty link or empty title(tried to also link another says same thing. They are at the bottom in references). I gave it one but I dont know it that's how its suppose to work. I'm using another wikipedia page for code refrence or I would have even come close to getting this far lol. I wanted to make a copy of this one just for canadians instead https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Irish_UFC_fighters . I was teting to enter references how they have them. They dont have a reference column. I am also gunna have to get another buddy to help me I think. Tsims23 Thanks for the explanation, but I still not sure what issues you are facing exactly, but i have added a ref on Harold Howard to reflect the content claimed. Pls see the ref column. To add the source, as i say pls use "horizontal format" Template:Cite Web and read WP:REFB. Also Pls copy the table parameters on HW and replace them on the rest of the weight divisions. CASSIOPEIA No worries and thank you for the help very much I will begin to enter references in the format you have displayed. And it's not much to worry about anymore but down in the reference tab you can see that i have one that says it has no title but I see what u did so I dont think that will be an issue. I do want to know tho how do I get it so that I can actually make this searchable on Google because I have to search it on wikipedia only. Just wondering that's what I'll be doing last basically. Hi Slavicanimefan2005 Good day. You need to provide significant coverage (at least 3 sources) of independent, reliable sources to support the content claimed for verification. Pls note that user generated site, facebook, IMBD, official web site, sources associated with the subject, press releases, interview and etc are considered "not independent" sources. Sources from major newspapers are good sources and sources can be in any languages. Pls see referencing on how to provide references/inline citation. Draft:N180 highway (Philippines) patterned to N1 highway (Philippines)

Hi!

I noticed that the N180 highway article was moved to draft which I actually do not mind. Although given the premise, I think the N1 highway (Philippines) article which is also unreferenced must be moved to a draft due to the similar reason. Otherwise, I think the N180 article could be moved back to being a published article.

Hi Korean Rail Fan Good day. The Draft page is a new page, that is the reason why it is moved to draft page as of the other has been around for sometime. What you need to do is to add sources to support the content claimed. See referencing for info if you havent. For older article, we usually would normated for deletion if it doest not meet notability guideline. I am intend to do that as it is a Philippines highway, and there might be some source in Tagalog languages to support the content claimed which I would not able to source since I dont read Tagalog. Hi WWorringer, Done reviewed. I asked the question because if you know the subject personally either in relation as a friend/colleague/any affliation then you would have a conflict of interest (COI) and Wikipedia would need to to disclosure the COI and in your user page and article talk page. Since you just attending a lecture of him as an audience that would be ok just like I have attended Prince's concert and seeing him perform afar and with no relation with in any form at all but a fan then I dont have a COI if I write/edit his article in Wikipedia. Pls do not contact the subject to for photo, for you will have a COI if you do that. Thanks for your contribution.

Dear CASSIOPEIA!! Thank you so much! I feel like a real Wikipedian now. Prince, wow! Often I find people comparing him with MJ because of ethnicity and the funk element. But on so many grounds they are so different. Prince had this confidence and he was never performing the character Prince, like Bowie.
