Étienne Blanc (born 29 August 1954) is a French politician serving as First Vice President of the Regional Council of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes since 2016. A member of The Republicans, he represented the third constituency of the Ain department in the National Assembly from 2002 to 2016. Blanc previously served as Mayor of Divonne-les-Bains from 1991 until 2019.[1]
Following the 2015 regional elections, Laurent Wauquiez was elected President of the Regional Council of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. He then appointed Blanc as Regional Council First Vice President. He is his party's candidate for Mayor of Lyon in the 2020 municipal election.
