The Sporting Magazine gives Emmeline as the name of the filly owned by the Duke of Rutland who finished second to Zeal on her debut. That can't be right: Emmeline was foaled a year earlier and had won the Claret Stakes at the Craven meeting. Tigerboy1966 18:06, 26 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
