Summary

Description

Ball-and-stick model of the tetrodotoxin molecule, C11H17N3O8.

This image is based on the crystal structure of tetrodotoxin hydrobromide. Hydrogen atoms were added using the Add Hydrogens tool in Accelrys DS Visualizer, based on the tautomer shown in File:Tetrodotoxin.svg. See Akio Furusaki, Yujiro Tomiie and Isamu Nitta (1970). "The Crystal and Molecular Structure of Tetrodotoxin Hydrobromide". Bull. Chem. Soc. Jpn. 43 (11): 3332-3341. DOI:10.1246/bcsj.43.3332. for details.
