Need to delete another page for 24 Indian version
The following page is about the same series. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24_-_Indian_version_%282013%29 It should be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pathak.ab (talk • contribs) 08:16, 5 September 2013 (UTC)
Where is the Hindi article
Since this is an Indian show, in Hindi, shouldn't there be a Hindi article about the show? 50.244.109.70 (talk) 23:46, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Where's season one?
- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- The result of this discussion was to merge 24 (Indian TV series season 2) to 24 (Indian TV series). This is an uncontroversial merge proposal.
The S2 article was created prematurely with no awareness of WikiProject Television norms. We don't create standalone articles unless there is sufficient content to require it. In this case there isn't even an episode list for S1 or S2, so child articles are unwarranted. Thanks, ZI Jony (talk) 19:00, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
Soooo, there's a main article 24 (Indian TV series) and there's a second season article 24 (Indian TV series season 2). Did someone forget about season one? Or a general List of episodes article to make navigation across the seasons intuitive and, oh, possible? Have the article creators never seen TV articles? Are they aware of MOS:TV, or that there is a community of helpful people who are happy to help educate them? This series of articles is a mess. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:59, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
Revisiting this issue, here is the correct sequence of article creation:
- Main article - 24 (Indian TV series) (compare to SpongeBob SquarePants)
- List of episodes - If we have episode lists for more than 1 season, we create a list of episodes article. (Compare to List of SpongeBob SquarePants episodes)
- Season one - When our list of episodes for Season 1 becomes too big because it is full of real-world content about the season's production, ratings, casting, writing, etc., then we can create 24 (Indian TV series season 1). (Compare to SpongeBob SquarePants (season 1))
- Season two - When our list of episodes for Season 2 becomes too big because it is full of real-world content about the season's production, ratings, casting, writing, etc., then we can create 24 (Indian TV series season 2). (Compare to SpongeBob SquarePants (season 2))
Note that 24 (Indian TV series season 1) is redlinked? That's because it was never created. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:40, 1 February 2017 (UTC)
- @Cyphoidbomb: I think the best option is we that we merge 24 (Indian TV series season 2) with this article like Naagin (season 2) was merged with Naagin (TV series). Sid95Q (talk) 07:21, 26 March 2018 (UTC)
- Not a bad idea. You want to give it a shot? If so, read WP:MERGETEXT. The biggest thing to remember is that once you paste the content, you need to include an edit summary that explains that the content was merged from another page (to help preserve copyright attribution), and then you have to slap {{merged-from}} and {{merged-to}} templates on the talk pages of both articles. - @ZI Jony: Need your help here. Sid95Q (talk) 15:28, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
