Hi @Binksternet: You've been removing the flags used in the international broadcast section citing WP:FLAGCRUFT. There are six scenarios listed under that guideline where the use of flags is considered inappropriate, but I struggle to see which scenario the use of flag in this article fits into. I personally do not have a preference for using flags in this context or not, but such use is common practice across Thai TV series so popular that they enter the international market such as this and this, and I think they look good as is. If there is no particular reason why this needs to be "fixed", the we are not to fix it. Cheers. --Luminoxius (talk) 20:11, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It is in fact broken. The flag makes it appear as if the nation is represented by the programming, or the nation is sponsoring the programming. Neither of these things are true.
Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Icons says that a flag icon "may be relevant" in cases "where the subject officially represents that country or nationality. This is not that case.
MOS:FLAGCRUFT says "Do not emphasize nationality without good reason." A TV show with a fantasy theme does not supply a good reason. If there is no good reason, then the flag icon is violating WP:Neutral point of view.
The argument about other TV show articles is not a reason to keep flags in this one. That argument just shows how far down the wrong path people have gone. Those other articles will have to be fixed, too. Binksternet (talk) 20:25, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
