Unblock

Request reason:
IP (149.19.42.43) was blocked as part of an Open Proxy. The computer I am forced to use for the majority of the day has administrative overrides that require it to be connected to an internal closed proxy in order to function. I am also blocked from creating unblock requests through the ticket system. All edits I will make will be made through the JarJarInks account and not anonymously through the IP. JarJarInks (talk) 16:59, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Accept reason:
This is not a closed proxy but instead, an open proxy. However, you have explained why this is happening and to the extent I'm capable, I have verified this. I have granted you WP:IPBE for six months. See below for details. If you make constructive edits during this time, you are free to request an extension if necessary, in six months. IP block exempt
[edit]I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit the English Wikipedia through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.
Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions. Inappropriate usage of this user right may result in revocation. I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Yamla (talk) 17:50, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! JarJarInks (talk) 17:54, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Is there a way to remove my reasoning from my talk page while keeping the logs available to admins? I'd rather not make my relative location public if possible. JarJarInks (talk) 18:08, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- You are free to remove all content from this page. That would keep it in the history. It's unusual to hide it from the history as well, but if you believe you have a compelling need, remove what you'd like hidden and let me know. I'll take you at your word that you have a compelling need, but please don't abuse that. :) --Yamla (talk) 18:49, 12 November 2024 (UTC)

The file File:JarJarInk's Dogs 2.jpg has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the file should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:01, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
Teahouse
[edit]Hello, JarJarInks,
Welcome to editing Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions but you have only been editing for a few weeks and have an editing history of only 61 edits. Please wait until you have much more editing experience before trying to answer questions at the Teahouse. Questions are typically answered by editors who have years of experience and solid knowledge of the project's policies and guidelines. Giving an incorrect answer is worse than no answer at all. I hope you understand and feel free to come to the Teahouse with your own questions and help out there after you have been editing for several months. Thank you. Liz Read!
