Comic strip from the US Navy in the 1940s, but the library of congress doesn't seem to have heard of it. The last paragraph appears to be a deliberate defense against lack of independent third party references. Not notable and possibly a hoax Not your siblings' deletionist (talk) 01:41, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep It was successful enough to be carried in newspapers, and was created by the guy who made Denis the Menace. Searching for the name of the comic strip and the name of the creator together I find some results. [2]. Warden has added some references to the article. Dream Focus 07:01, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep It was discussed in The World Encyclopedia of Comics Volume 1 in 1976, in Where's Dennis?: The Magazine Cartoon Art of Hank Ketcham in 2007, and in They Also Served: Military Biographies of Uncommon Americans in 1998. It was an early creation of a famous cartoonist, Hank Ketcham. Cullen328 (talk) 07:05, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep I have improved the article to demonstrate its notability. Warden (talk) 07:17, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Withdraw looks like I don't know where to do references to comic books. References have now been added. Sorry. Not your siblings' deletionist (talk) 08:11, 3 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
