I collect music in both digital and analog formats. My digital collection is about a 1TB and I have a record collection of about 250 records. My collection spans all genres, my favorites being classical, rock, and folk. I am very proud of the collection I have accumulated so far and do not plan to stop anytime soon.
Find out more by visiting my Discogs page or by visiting my Instagram.Have done personal research on the technicalities of sound such as DACs, ADCs, distortion, gain, speaker impedance, speaker drivers, digital sound file formats/encoding, audio signals (balanced vs single ended), and digital signal processing. I am currently doing some research on vacuum tube transistors as I would like to design and build myself a new tube amplifier.
In 2012, I had the oportunity to travel to Haiti as a volunteer for a non-profit named Zanmi Lakay. Zanmi Lakay hosted a photojournalism camp for homeless children living in Haiti. My role was to manage the cameras and teach the children how to use the cameras. I also got some one-on-one with a few students to teach them photoshop.
I have also taken photos of the Oakland Occupy marches, a Chinese new year parade, a Cinco de Mayo parade, and Colorodo nature.
