Halo Cards, Take 2

Hey, been a while, especially since I posted my Mgalekgolo card. Decided I'd try to follow up with more Halo-based cards.

 

I'll admit, my wording for the card effects might be off quite a bit, considering how long it's been since I made cards, so if you can just bear with me...well...here's the cards...

 

[spoiler=Unggoy Cards]

This monster cannot attack, unless there is 1 "Sangheili" or "Jiralhanae" monster on the field. If a "Sangheili" or "Jiralhanae" monster on the field is destroyed, reduce this monster's ATK and DEF to 0, until the End Phase of your next turn.

Every turn, place 1 Spell Counter on this Card (limit of 1). If this card would be destroyed as a result of a battle, remove the Spell Counter instead. Increase the ATK of this card by 50 points for every "Unggoy" monster on your side of the field.

Every turn, place 1 Spell Counter on this Card (limit of 2). If this card would be destroyed as a result of a battle, remove a Spell Counter instead. Increase the ATK of this card by 100 points for every "Unggoy" monster or "Sangheili Minor" on your side of the field.

This is actually really nice, it appears to have a kind of "morale" system about it. That is to say, when a Sangheili is killed, the Unggoy lose morale and as such, lose attack and defense. I'm not a fan of using "50" for stuff, but for their levels their stats seem blanaced, the gains are reasonable, and I like that the Sangheili have "armor" by using Spell Counters. This is rather well done, good job.

Finally got the Jiralhanae cards ready...TBH, not too sure about these guys, might have gone...underwhelming with the "Berserk" function, but...well...what do you think?

By the way, if anyone can find a GREAT Halo Reach Jiralhanae Ultra image, that'd be great.

 

Still got the Kig-Yar (Jackals and Skirmishers), Yanme'e (Drones), and Huragok (Engineers) to do...plus whomever I may have forgotten (I'd previously done the Mgalekgolo (Hunters) a couple years back, which was also well-received. If you guys want me to post it here too, I will).

These look fine to me, sorry for not getting back to you sooner on it, haha. Busy week for me. But yeah, it reads to me like "shield drop, time to rage" so it works perfectly IMO. Doesn't seem to terribly overwhelming to deal with.

Very nice cards, the pics are not my taste... but I must say, the lores are correct as I can see and the effects are balanced. Only put your new cards on your 1st post by edit it so we can see them all at once. you can also use spoiler code to shrink your 1st post
