Message reads: "Dear Hennie, Was very sorry could not come to see you but I guess Auntie mentioned in her letter to your satisfaction. Will write to you soon,. Now be good. Give my love to Ma. Pete".

Above: Chicago Street Looking East, Audubon, Iowa. Postmarked April 4, 19?? and addressed to Luella J. Hurd, Seattle, Washington. Message appears to be in Spanish. Written April 3rd at Ross, Iowa by J. L. Rutherford.
