The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking information regarding the illegal shooting of a young bull elk that occurred in southern Idaho between March 2-4, 2025.
The elk was discovered near Clover Creek Road, north of Bliss, and was determined to have been shot.
Salmon Region irrigators asked to contact Fish and Game before turning ditch water on this spring
To keep fish from getting stranded in irrigation ditches, irrigators who divert water from local rivers and streams in the Salmon Region are asked to contact Idaho Fish and Game’s Anadromous Fish Screen Program at 208-756-6022 at least one week prior to turning their water on.
