PassPop Video Analytics
PassPop is a Dutch project developed by Intelligencia for the security surveillance of the events attended by the mass population. The main objective is to monitor the movement of event participants, counting the number of people in the crowd and the other objects within a specific radius of the event. The key functions of the PassPop project were implemented using the YOLOv3 algorithm.
One of the core capabilities of PassPop platform is counting people who are entering and exiting the event premise/area . Also, for each count of object in the video, it automatically creates an unique identifier and stores the ID. Besides
PassPop stores the timestamps of every count.
Detecting the anomaly behavior of the attendees is another important analysis that PassPop offers. It continuously analyzes and detects the abnormal behavior that the algorithm is trained to.
