  i really feel like indy is the last person who would just casually refer to something as a pandora's box if it wasn't possibly literally pandora's box. he’s seen too much, he knows better.

  i was going to keep this out of the 0.5 star club out of respect for my boy harrison ford, but when it ended on yet another shot of the hat i almost launched my phone across the room and i have to live in my truth.

  hoo-ah i guess?

  i don't know what to say really - it's a very technically impressive movie but the idea that this is anti-war feels like such nonsense to me. it's happy to abandon facts and nuance to show the american soldiers (who i could barely tell apart despite recognising most of the pretty stacked cast) as courageous, brave, stoic warriors for peace and virtue (?!), willing to do all of the killing necessary to rescue their brothers in arms…
