Teeth Whitening: What’s The Process?

It’s pretty straightforward and simple. We apply our own custom mix of whitening agents to bleach teeth staining, which kicks off by the process by diffusing the stain. 

One thing to know: tooth whitening may not correct all types of issues with the color of your teeth. It won’t work with teeth that have specific colors, including brown and gray. Others respond positively to the treatment (yellow).

Tooth whitening also won’t work in any way on crowns, caps, dental veneers, and/or fillings. It also may not work in the case of discoloration caused by injury, or specific medications.

The most frequent whitening procedure performed here at Aspire Family Dentistry includes using custom trays that fit tightly over the teeth. Filled with a bleaching solution with more potency than other cleaning agents bought over the counter. Professional treatment by a dental professional will also increase the effectiveness of the process.

I always have the best experience at Aspire Family Dentistry, they all truly care for their patients at the highest level. All of the hygienists are super friendly, and very good at what they do. Dr. Lee always lightens the mood with chit chat and jokes - not to mention he is the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of being a customer of. Also, I think the addition of the Television and the screen that shows the x-rays of your teeth is awesome! 10/10. Would recommend to everyone!
