91: Just when United look to be heading for defeat, Paul Scholes grabs a dramatic equaliser. Luke Chadwick's shot is deflected to Scholes, who turns in the area and slams a shot high into the Panathinaikos net.
Sturm Graz 0-4 Valencia 90: Another late chance for United. Gary Neville whips a good cross into the six-yard box, but Solskjaer's glanced header drifts agonisingly wide.
88: Diego Alonsoscores another for Valencia. 87: Teddy Sheringham fails to beat Nikopolidis with a weak header.
84: Deportivo's superb comeback from 3-0 down is complete. Walter Pandiani claims his hat-trick, to leave 10-man Paris St Germain shellshocked. 82: As United are get more and more desperate, an impatient Paul Scholes blazes over from outside the area.
80: Blackburn's showdown with Arsenal in the FA Cup is all but assured as they storm three goals ahead. Craig Hignett claims a second goal - this time with a spectacular strike.
78: United, desperate for an equaliser after a ponderous display, replace Andy Cole and Phil Neville with Ole Gunnar Solksjaer and Teddy Sheringham - the men who won them the European Cup in 1999.
75: More joy for Deportivo as Walter Pandiani grabs his second goal to bring them back to level terms.
72: Blackburn take a step closer to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, as a Craig Hignett penalty puts Bolton two goals in arrears. 69: Barthez does well to deny Panathinaikos midfielder Derek Boateng. The 17-year-old finds himself clean through on goal - but seems to suffer an attack of nerves and can only hit a tame shot, which the United keeper gratefully collects.
59: A second Deportivo goal in the space of three minutes, from Diego Tristan, suddenly puts Paris St Germain under serious pressure.

50: United's rivals for qualification from Group A, Valencia, surge ahead through John Carew.
45: Half-time in Athens, where United have been outshone by an impressive Panathinaikos side. 43: Panathinaikos squander a glorious chance. Boateng's through-ball splits the United defence and leaves Barthez utterly exposed. But rather than shoot, Liberpoulous squares for Vlaovic, who puts the ball wide under pressure.
42: Ten-man Paris St Germain shrug off their numerical inferiority and double their lead against Deportivo through Laurent Leroy. 39: Barthez keeps out a superb shot from Goran Vlaovic with a diving save at full stretch.
38: Chelsea, without an away win all season, double their lead at West Ham, as Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink curls in a superb shot 25 yards.
35: Paris St Germain are reduced to 10 men, as Gilbert Prilasnig is sent off for a professional foul. 35: Marcus Bent comes close for Blackburn in the FA Cup tie with Bolton, but his shot goes wide.
32: Chelsea take the lead in the London derby at Upton Park. Jesper Gronkjaer links with Eidur Gudjohnsen, who scores with a low shot from 20 yards. 30: United striker Andy Cole puts the ball in the net - but the strike is ruled out for off-side.

24: Manchester United surprisingly fall behind in Athens. Nineteen-year-old full-back Yourkas Seitaridis scores on his debut, with a powerful low shot from 25 yards that beats an unsighted Fabien Barthez. 20: A surging run from Derek Boateng leads to a Panathinaikos corner, but Liberopoulos volleys over from the set-piece.
Galatasaray 1-0 AC Milan 13: Panathinaikos waste a great opportunity. Confusion between Fabien Barthez and his defenders on the edge of the United area lets in Nikos Liberopoulos - but he gets the ball stuck beneath his feet and fluffs his shot. 11: West Ham veteran Stuart Pearce hobbles off with a knee injury and is replaced by Sebastian Schemmel. 9: Paul Scholes comes close for United with an opportunistic long-range strike. 7: United suffer an early scare as Panathinaikos' Goran Vlaovic smacks a 25-yard free-kick just wide of Fabien Barthez's right-hand post.
