If the annoying munchkin jingle stays in the top five for the week, BBC Radio 1 will have no choice but to play the song on its legendary weekend chart show, but will likely provide some context: “Among the 16- to 24-year-olds, a lot of people are saying they are not 100 percent sure who Thatcher is,” a BBC source said. “Even though this seems extraordinary, they may not understand why that song would chart.”
