Research team

Until December 2001 I was leader of CWI's research programme Modeling, Analysis and Simulation.

January 2002 I was elected CWI fellow, which implies freedom from administrative duties and full freedom in research.

December 2006 I retired both from CWI and from UvA. Since then I am emeritus at the Univerity of Amsterdam.

Since 2007 I'm running my own institute: IPIR .

Self-corruption in Dutch education:

Picture of the board (until 2010) of the Dutch educational institution "InHolland".

A similar attitude we notice, e.g., with B. Molenkamp, the chairman of the Board at Amarantis Onderwijsgroep; member of the board at ROC ASA; director at KBP.
The fragment below is a quote from Nieuw Amserdams Peil (20 febr 2009).

Huurprijs van het kantoor aan de Zuidas (voor 25 personeelsleden) 420.000,00 Euro/jaar. B. Molenkamp in de Bijlmerbajes zetten wegens onverantwoordelijk omgaan met onderwijsgelden lijkt mij voor het onderwijs beter dan hem --nadat hij in 2011 Amarantis praktisch failliet heeft achtergelaten en daar met een vertrekpremie van 250.00,00 Euro is vertrokken-- `voorzitter' van het eenhoofdig CvB van het ROC Rivor te maken. Ik denk dan ook dat dit zonder vriendjespolitiek (Dutch corruption) niet mogelijk is geweest.

The study of corruption in the Netherlands and the treatment of whistleblowers is a most interesting subject that still needs more serious attention.

De Nederlandse rechters dienen van onbesproken gedrag te zijn, maar ze zijn dat niet! (23 november 2012)
De oud-rechters Pieter Kalbfleisch en Hans Westenberg zijn vandaag vrijgesproken. Zij werden ervan beschuldigd te hebben gelogen onder ede in de Chipsholzaak. Er was te weinig bewijs hiervoor, oordeelde de rechtbank in Utrecht vrijdag.

Wordt Nederland met deze justitie een corrupte politiestaat?
