Life Extended Poem by D.N. Rebb

Life Extended

Rating: 5.0

In retrospective analysis,
We all prefer our lives extended
But there is always something that quits
And chooses its own stairway instead
No one knows this could be your last kiss
Or why all those promises misled
You're now on capped time, so reminisce
And avoid the color of death, red
Perchance grim reaper will just dismiss
you on this extended period

Promises of eternity do dismiss when the reaper decides. This verse, D.N, , is absolutely brilliant!

The Grim Reaper has by-passed me many times on his way to get someone else.
